VP BD/Sponsorships at Tapatap In San mateo

San Mateo's Taptatap is looking to hire a BD VP in its San Mateo office. The startup has raised $2.5M in Series A funding from Gabriel Venture Partners, says PEWire. The company has yet to launch but says it will compete in the mobile social networking arena and will be "Your Contest Community" offering infinite contests for fun and prizes."
The company was co-founded by 3 top Infospace execs, led by CEO Isaac Babbs who was GM/VP Mobile Games at Infospace Mobile. This sounds very much like new launches that we have been covering including Kyte.tv and Zannel.

Its gets distribution through partnership and makes money on this via locally targeted advertising. JiWire also sells a dynamic content management service enabling Wi-Fi access providers (wireless ISPs, aggregators, telcos) to outsource their hotspot location information.
This start-up is going places in a hurry. CEO Bruce Leak is an experienced hand who had founded WebTV. Big name VCs like Accel and Mohr Davidow have just plunged in $10M of a $12M first round and it has jobs reqs galore.
