CTO For Palo Alto Stealth Mode Small Wind Turbine Startup
This un-named Palo Alto startup says that a substantial amount of basic R&D has been completed through a top government lab and prototypes are ready for testing. The company is currently seeking financing to commercialize the technology and build a significant wind turbine systems company.
You will work for no cash!
You will be the third member of the founding leadership team, joining the CEO and the VP of Marketing / Business Development. You will own platform design and participate in business plan development, fund raising and product development. You will receive founders stock pre-funding. There will be no cash compensation until funding, so it is OK to be working full-time at another job for now.
The ideal CTO will have an MS (Ph.D. preferred) in Aerodynamics / Mechanical Engineering, credible CTO experience and solid wind power expertise. The company has access to excellent electronics / alternator technology. The CTO needs to lead the effort to transition the Aerodynamics / Mechanical Engineering technology and IP from the national lab to the company and build this into an internal core competency.
The company is open to paying relocation expenses once funding has been secured.
