Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the VP/Director of Sales will structure and recruit the inside sales organization, and then manage it to success, with ongoing evaluation of processes, metrics, and objectives.
Your job would be to build and manage a sales team, be able to make some calls yourself, and manage some accounts. You will also work with the marketing team on merchant acquisition strategy. As our application matures, you will help identify business opportunities with merchant partners. Your team will also work with the mShopper tech team to integrate new merchant partners. All applicants should have at least 5 years of inside sales management experience. Knowledge and understanding of internet commerce and mobile commerce and/or mobile applications a plus.
In this vital position, you will:
• Implement an appropriate sales strategy
• Develop and implement hiring plans
• Maintain organizational budget
• Work with Marketing to implement successful lead generation campaigns
• Work with Account Management to maintain overall client satisfaction
• Recruit and manage Inside Sales Managers to functional objectives
• Provide mentoring, training, and motivational leadership to all staff
• Provide performance reviews on an annual basis
• Test and refine processes and metric models
• Provide accurate and timely forecasts
Requirements:
• We require a minimum of 5 years experience of inside sales management, with a proven track record. Experience in infrastructure, internet advertising or tech sales preferred, but not required.
• Experience of account management for corporations as clients
• Highly disciplined and motivated personality
• Based in or able to move to Boulder, Colorado (we have no relocation budget)
• Candidate must be professional, intelligent, and customer focused
• Multi-tasking abilities a must
• Proficiency in use of Internet, Excel, browsers and service providers required.
• Working knowledge of salesforce.com or other CRM tool
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in sales management. You should have experience with customers and be self-motivated, hard working and results oriented.
