Aliph, the developer of the Jawbone Bluetooth headset (www.jawbone.com) is seeking to establish and grow a lean and fast paced European sales and marketing operation based in London to exploit the substantial European and Mideast communications markets.
As Chief Operating Officer, you will be working closely with an Aliph Founder and other senior personnel to setup and manage the operations. You will play the central role in building an efficient and effective European operation. This role will require management of local staff and remote sales and account management personnel across the continent.
Aliph is seeking a business person with a passion for global business, audio technologies and world-class consumer products to join a dynamic and diverse team. There is flexibility in the definition and evolution of this role and the Company is seeking self-motivated, dynamic, detail-oriented and driven individuals with a passion for consumer products and mobile technologies to join the team and help build an exciting enterprise.

Duties:
• Manage European sales and European account management personnel
• Manage internal sales logistics, coordinating with US Corporate and Chinese supplier.
• Oversight of E-commerce systems and logistics in Europe
• Manage office operations (UK)
• Oversee human resources
• Management of operating finances and budgets
• Report to Founder and Managing Director, EMEA
Requirements:
• B.Sc. and 8+ years experience in business
• 5+ years experience in general management, sales, operations, or logistics
• Strong financial discipline
• Preferred: experience in mobile telecommunications and/or consumer electronics products/services.
• Experience in European business
