CEO For Russian Wireless Entertainment Startup Playfon
Playfon says they are looking for an experienced CEO who has IPO experience. The company's current CEO and owner, Muslim Shortanov, is apparently vacating the position. Playfon ranks as one of the top 100 Russian IT companies. Playfon is the leading international provider of wireless entertainment. Playfon operates in UK, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the Baltic States.
According to CNews in 2006 Playfon’s revenue totaled more than $14M. Comparing to the financial year 2005 revenue rose for 11%. The company employs over 150 people working in Sweden, Russia and Ukraine.
For better or worse you will need to work with Playfon's mobile adult group Hotfon.

Responsibilities:
Full P&L responsibility
Strategy development;
Development and execution of the Business Plan;
Development of the structure;
Knowledge:
Management high skills;
Finance high skills;
Marketing intermediate skills;
Management Background:
Must have been CEO/President at least once before . One of these positions must have been with an
emerging company which has successfully evidenced rapid growth.
Must have had management responsibilities of at least the following:
Full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility
Full divisional or stand alone company responsibility
Full departmentals-Finance, Sales, Marketing, IT, HR
Business Plan development and execution.
Prefer to have been CEO/President/VP of both a large corporation and of an emerging company.
Industry Background:
Prefer to have management experience from internet industry/mobile content industry;
Public Company Background:
Prefer to have had experience with taking a company through an IPO.
