BD VP For Personal Finance Site NestEggr

Started in late 2006, and founded by some Yahoo refugees, NestEggr.com is a personal finance community site. They need a head of BD. They want someone with blogger cred who can do strategery and get traffic. You'll report to Ravi Dronamraju, who worked on Yahoo Finance for 3 years. Before that he managed the engineering team for Yahoo! Autos.

The vice president of business development will be responsible for establishing and managing partnerships that help NestEggr grow its community and drive forward the corporate objectives. This person will be working with closely with the founder to refine our existing business and product strategy. This role could grow into the CEO of the company.
Responsibilities:
* Lead all aspects of business development. Identify and build relationships with top tier personal finance companies (online and offine). Work with product team to realize product technology partnerships.
* Build Scalable relationships that drive traffic to NestEggr, help build our brand and deliver value to our partners.
* Lead third-party traffic acquisition process for consumer websites to achieve traffic goals in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
* Manage ROI for and optimize all strategic relationships with direct accountability for results
* Partner with founder to refine business strategy and help prepare the investor pitch
Requirements:
* "Friend of People" skills. A Jedi knight in the art of building strong enduring business relationships. Expectations are that you already have or quickly establish strong relationships with all all the top players in the online finance industry.
* "Strategery" Skills. Excellent analytical skills. You have strong understanding of internet business strategies, and can guide us on product/business strategy.
* "Make Things Happen" skills. 7+ years of BD experience with Senior level experience at top tier internet companies. You are driven, accomplished person who has structured, negotiated and closed win-win deals.
* "Do No Evil" skills. The dark side of the force is tempting. We believe the best way to build an enduring, successful company is to continue to provide value to our users. "Darkside of the force" is short term revenue that compromises the longer term value proposition of the company. You must be able to resist the temptation.
* "Long Tail Marketing" Skills. You can manage traffic acquisition process via the new generation marketing tools (google adwords, SEO etc).
* "A lot of hats" skills. We are a small company. All of us are very accomplished at what we do. But we are humble folk who take on what ever is needed for the success of the project and finish it up. We need someone joining us to be entrepreneurial.
