Millions of Us was founded by a couple of guys who left Linden Labs (Second Life). We don't know the story why they left so you'll have to ask them. They now sell services to corporates that want to build their Second Life presence. It appears they haven't raised funding but are growing on revenues.

ice President of Production
Millions of Us is looking to hire a top performer for our Vice President of Production, reporting to our President. In this multidisciplinary role the incumbent will hire and build our existing team to a highly optimized and efficient 50+ person team. You will have a proven track record of motivating, driving and managing multi million dollar campaigns teams for large national accounts.
Millions of Us is a leading social media agency, specializing in connecting brands to large online communities and virtual worlds. Since our founding in July of 2006, the company has grown rapidly and now counts 1/3 of the Fortune 50 as clients. Our work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week and NPR. We are based in Sausalito, CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Hiring and developing a large team of producers, artists, designers and programmers.
- Managing the production team to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and with happy customers.
- Acting as a key contact for clients (in person, phone, email, written correspondence) and a liaison between the client and production team.
- Translating client needs to the production team and ensuring that the projects stay true to the clients’ needs.
- Participating in major industry events and seminars as directed by the CEO and President.
Qualifications:
The right candidate is a visionary who can work in a fast paced start-up environment that is rapidly growing. You will bring passion, energy and a proven track record of delivering compelling results toward targeted goals. You will also have the following:
- 10 - 15+ years of experience particularly in the advertising/creative services sector
- 4 year undergraduate degree required, MBA a plus
- Proven record of strong account management experience particularly with large national brands
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- A highly personable and charismatic demeanor
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Proficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent
- Technical background ideal; experience working with programmers a plus
