Tech VP For SF-Based Education Web 2.0 startup Civv.us
A stealth mode San Francisco-based Web 2.0 startup is looking to hire a tech VP/co-founder. It is unclear if any money has been raised for Civv.us - it doesn't look like it. The company was founded by social entrepeneur and consultant Jessica Margolin.

We're building a web 2.0 application that will help make the world a better place as well as make the company money.
You want to be a co-founder, and to build something important from scratch. You expect to be a key member of the executive management team of the company.
Experience: You have built flexible, highly scalable high traffic websites. You have built and managed development teams and delivered the product. You have experience building web communities.
Philosophy: You are open to a variety of platforms, and are not religious about which technologies to use as long as they are cost-effective and can scale. You want to work on technology that will enable stronger communities and more effective social entrepreneurship.
Skills: You are interested and well-versed in Web 2.0 technical trends such as rich Internet applications (e.g. AJAX), web and open standards, webservice API's, syndication, etc.)
Position: You will be the lead technology strategist and architect and you must attract and recruit top technical talent into the organization to build an engineering and technology organization. You will help us scale our products and systems to handle the steep curve of viral adoption.
Us: We are an early phase start-up with solid business experience and a clear vision of where we are going.
