We’re looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing, who’ll be responsible for presenting to advertising agencies and brands to sell sponsorship packages for our forthcoming season of Perplex City.
As a member of Mind Candy's management team, you will be working on long-term strategic planning and communicate closely with our story and design teams to ensure an attractive platform to brands while not compromising the delivery of a content-led entertainment experience. You will also work on day-to-day development and management of qualified leads, taking them through from first contact to sealing sponsorship and advertising deals.
We will know when we meet you that you're excited about the potential that Perplex City, as an Alternate Reality Game, offers as a new form of entertainment and as a new advertising and marketing platform. Knowledge of Lonelygirl15, Katemodern, 42 Entertainment, ilovebees and Year Zero is a must.
You will:
* have managed and developed long-term ongoing high-level relationships with leading international consumer brands across a wide range of marketing platforms
* have at least 3 years experience of working in new media, social networking or media advertising areas
* be comfortable with a startup work ethic in a rapidly changing, responsive environment and relish the opportunity to work with young, highly creative colleagues across the company
* have very strong communication and presentation skills and be experienced in online and offline advertising and business development
* have a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
* be well connected within the advertising (both agencies and brands) and online industry and have access to key contacts at premium world-class brands
