VP Marketing For Canada's Coveo In Corporate Search and Multimedia
Coveo has offices in Palo Alto but its HQ is in Quebec, so we are guessing you would do your time up near the hockey rinks. It looks like you would report to Laurent Simoneau, President and CEO who comes to Coveo from Copernic, where he was the COO.

The Vice President of Marketing is an executive who will lead and manage all elements of Coveo’s comprehensive marketing program, designed to enhance Coveo’s competitive position in the industry as well as drive top tier sales growth.
Corporate marketing and communication including Coveo’s corporate image, brand promise and positioning, press and industry analysts relations, industry and user events;
Product marketing including targeted product messaging and positioning, pricing, product launches, sales collaterals, win-loss and competitive analysis, and case studies;
Industry marketing including vertical direct marketing programs as well as partner programs within the Microsoft channels;
Field marketing including managing the Coveo corporate web site and self service online distribution, online lead generation campaigns including webinars and podcasts, other lead generation programs execution, as well as customer marketing events.
The Vice President of Marketing will also be intimately involved with both Sales and Product Development functions, and provide key input for product enhancements and new markets that Coveo should pursue.
The candidate will have a BA/BS (MBA preferred) with senior level marketing management experience within the B2B software industry, preferably with a strong background and in-depth knowledge of long-tail distribution models, direct marketing leveraging online techniques, and experience working with the Microsoft global channels.
Prior experience working within high growth environments, strong ability to leverage technology such as Excel, financial analytics skills, and project management abilities are mandatory.
