VoIP Review is looking for someone to head their tech efforts. This site aggregates information on various VoIP plans and feeds that to CNET and other sites. The pay doesn't seem great $50-100K per year. This looks like a fairly small operation but they do seem to have a head of steam.

What will you get to do?
* At a high-level, you�ll be responsible for ensuring our web site is successful. Depending on your skill set that can take on many forms and we�re completely in favor of people�s talent being used even if it doesn�t fit the job description.
* You will be in charge of high-level planning and the architecture for the site. You�ll determine how components of the site work (but not actually implement them or code them), manage and plan the data model, and create processes for managing relationships with customers, payments, and data via an online web interface. Coming up with new and exciting ways of doing things with Web 2.0 techniques will be a fun, creative part of your job.
* You will be responsible for managing all of our overseas developers by working with one project manager located overseas. You will create all requirements and business specifications documents and work with our overseas project manager to insure that everything is implemented properly including insuring that they have done thorough debugging of all components.
* Working with the CEO and VP of Marketing to come up with and implement improvements to the site, product, and user experience will be a critical part of what you do.
* Constantly improving the front-end and content of the web site along with some administrative activities which includes but is not limited to monitoring the site uptime and performance, making emergency updates when necessary, and making any SEO (search engine optimization) improvements are among the variety of skills you will utilize while at Voip Review. Doing usability tests in a real-world or lab environment will also be part of your key activities.
* An optional activity is managing and administer our forums and community by working with an existing member of our team already doing so. So if you�ve ever found an online forum or community helpful you�ll have a chance to return the favor by keeping well maintained and organized forums.

* If you don�t know about any of the items above you will learn them. We will either teach you or supply you with any books, subscriptions, seminars, classes you need, or you will learn through experience. You will learn how a small, fast-growing startup in a booming market attacks the opportunities presented.

What will you earn?
* You will receive a base salary of $50,000 and pay could go as high as $100,000 depending on skill and experience.
Capabilities you will need:
* C#, MS SQL Server, XML, HTML, and JavaScript are required.
* Excellent written communication skills
* Search engine optimization knowledge � a big plus but not required
* Experience documenting systems
* Database architecture such as rules of third normal form
* GUI desing, user interface design, usability testing skills
* A passion for creating an amazing user experience
* Knowledge of accounting terms and how to balance the books since you�ll monitor and audit the accuracy of our online billing and payment system
* An understanding of how VoIP works, the different types of VoIP out there, what various calling features do, hosted PBXs, IP PBXs, IP phones, gateways, and routers
* Experience running or participating in forums and online communities - optional
* Self discipline to work from home office
* Enjoyment of entrepreneurial environment, prior startup experience a plus, & desire to be a significant contributor in building a successful venture in an unstructured, dynamic start-up environment
* Desire and ability to write blogs or articles is a plus but not necessary
* Experience with web-based business
