Job Accountabilities Include:
• Develops, guides, and helps to codify and implement overall digital strategy. Is the Next-Gen “go to” for Waggener Edstrom account teams.
• Always wearing digital glasses and serves as cross account digital air traffic control.
• Develops online PR programs (examples: blog immersion packages, viral campaigns, online community building, internet influential modeling tools, digital storytelling programs, etc…) prioritized against client/prospect needs.
• Partners with other agency groups (Research, Tech Services, and IMM) in the development of online tools and services.
• Provides pricing guidance to account teams.
• With DSG, responsible for packaging and marketing digital deliverables across our accounts.
• Participates in enthusiast groups within the agency
• Proactively opportunistic - stays on top of emerging technologies and develops new programs and IP accordingly.
Critical Success Factors Include:
• Digital credibility – long track record of results and impact in digital influence. Could pass the giggle test if guru was in your title.
• Understanding of large technology company culture. Prior work with global technology accounts is a huge plus, but not a requirement.
• Genuine commitment to building a trusted advisor relationship cross-agency. Customer service a priority.
• Collaborative spirit with a get it done work ethic.
• Presence and presentation pizzazz – new business or sales background a plus.
• Understands the balance between a “take no prisoners” and strong influence.
