Finance VP for Santa Clara's Code Green Networks

Code Green Networks, sells of enterprise content security solutions. In early 2006 it did an oversubscribed Series C round of funding of $15M, bringing the company's total funding to date to $32M. This latest round, led by Sierra Ventures and including investment from Bay Partners, was oversubscribed by four times the amount raised.
The company is need of a VP of Finance but does not indicate if an IPO is in the works any time soon.

The Vice President of Finance will manage all corporate financial activities and act as a key advisor to the CEO. Responsible for comprehensive financial management of the company, this person will drive the budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, financial analysis and overall financial processes for the Company. The successful candidate is flexible and thrives in an ambitious and dynamic business environment and is a team player. This individual should also be able to identify issues, make appropriate recommendations, and drive agreed recommendations to resolution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement accounting and financial policies and procedures
Implement and maintain internal controls and processes for expense control, cash management, capital expenditure and accounting systems
Ensure accurate and timely issuance of monthly financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals
Ensure corporate compliance with all state and federal tax laws and all regulatory reporting
Manage cash and investments
Prepare and review annual and quarterly budgets and operating plans
Oversee monthly close related activities
Coordinate external audit process for both financial and tax
Review contracts and other legal documents
Oversee and manage all areas of Human Resources
Perform due diligence on potential acquisitions and define process for acquisition financial integration
Successfully manage relationships (identify, contact, inform, negotiate) with external auditors, lawyers, bankers, insurance brokers and investors
Requirements:
BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and experience at a major public accounting firm (Big 4 is a major plus)
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including cost accounting, budgeting, analysis, and systems
Software/High Tech industry experience
Track record in raising external capital
Ability to influence and impact financial business decisions at the executive level
Must be able to accurately compile and synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data
Excellent business acumen, solid understanding of key financial metrics and strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational/people management skills
