Engineering VP For Un-named Well Funded SF Startup
No idea who these guys are:
"We are a very well-published, PRE-IPO start up on a steep trajectory: with 25+ million active users; one of the best known proven technologies on the internet; $30 Million from Top Tier VC's; and partnership agreements with major fortune 500 companies- We're pushing forward with a ton of momentum. We are looking for a VP of Engineering to assist one of our founders in taking our engineering management to the next level, as well as drive our technical projects in a very fast-paced environment, and seek out new applications for our technology. The Vice President of Engineering will be expected to manage a team of 20+ and will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of the projects."

We are looking for someone with the following background and qualities:
- Very high technical competence, track record of strong coding and individual technical accomplishments, and strong academic record.
- Software or hardware background, Internet experience.
- Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment.
- 5+ years relevant experience managing large, fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams.
- Solid leadership skills, experience building a strong engineering teams. Strong project-management skills.
- Proven track record for product delivery.
- Able to fit in well within an informal startup environment and to provide hands-on management.
- Establish credibility with smart engineers quickly.
- MS CS preferred (PhD, a plus).
