DogSpace.com is a pre-launch social networking company focused on dogs and people who love them. We are proven internet entrepreneurs, with multiple IPOs behind us, and are seeking an exceptionally talented and committed individual to join our team as technical co-founder. Your job can be Senior Programmer, Chief Programmer, Chief Architect or Chief Technical Officer. We are looking for a leader with in-depth ASP.NET applications development experience and the ability to attract world class talent. Office will be established in, or near, San Francisco
Minimum Requirements
* 5+ years of web application development, including high-volume transactional applications
* 3+ years of .NET-specific development, including ASP.NET, and Web Services (real experience with .NET 2.0 is a big plus)
* 2+ years of MS SQL Server experience
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Minimum Responsibilities
* Participate in product brainstorming, planning, and market research
* Design and develop components, APIs, and UI elements
* Create technical specifications for new product features
* Set standards for implementation, coding, and deployment activities
* Manage contractors, grow technical team
* Evaluate and recommend 3rd party tools and components when
necessary
