Force10 is hiring both a Vice President, Strategic Alliances( Job Id# SAL-US009)
and a Vice President, Sales Operations (Job Id# SAL-US010)

Force10 Networks, a 10-Gbit/s ethernet switch specialist -- in advance of an expected IPO -- recently raised $113M from a total of 63 investors bringing its total funding raised to date ahead of $400M. The last time Force10 reported revenues was 2005 when it said it made more than $60M.

Currently we are seeking to hire a Vice President, Strategic Alliances with the following qualifications:

SUMMARY
The VP of Strategic Alliances is responsible for leading our Partner development team in identifying, managing and maximizing the business impact of numerous partner relationships and programs. This position reports to Sr. VP of WW Sales and is located in San Jose, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Aggressively identify, prioritize and manage corporate relationships with a targeted set of large strategic partners that have global and multi-market reach to create measurable business results for each partner.
• Lead the design and development of corporate-wide, scalable partnership programs that allow Force10 to increase its competitive advantage in all of its markets, improve customer acquisition and loyalty, and make it easier for a wide variety of partners to work constructively with Force10 in a programmatic and scalable fashion.
• Work with the sales leadership and business development staff in each market, provide guidance on developing a focused high impact set of market-specific partnerships to accelerate growth in North America, international and government market verticals.
• Serve as the senior executive in the company with respect to technology, content and learning application partnerships.
• High Identify and evaluate potential OEM transactions.

Qualifications:

• High degree of personal integrity and strong ability tow work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team based environment.
• Proven experience in providing strategic guidance and operational oversight in the partnership area in a growing multi-industry company.
• In-depth knowledge of scalable business development and partner management programs.
• Proven ability to establish strategic partnerships in rapidly changing industries and with large complex partners.
• Strong ability to prioritize key initiatives, develop business cases for budgets and resource investments and align multiple operating units towards common business development goals.
• Willingness to be located in San Jose, CA area and work out of the Force10 Networks corporate headquarters required.
• Extremely high energy, work ethic, and stamina to perform consistently and at a high level in a very demanding environment.
