CFO/Controller For NYC Financial Software Co. FTEN

NYC's FTEN is looking for its first Controller/CFO. FTEN claims its technology processes over 15% of the daily US Equities Volume.
FTEN is an independent non-broker dealer technology company. FTEN provides Access, Speed and Control via our VX™ latency sensitive black box trading gateway, our RX™ real-time intraday risk-management system which provides a dashboard view of all transactions, and our DX™ direct market access system. FTEN's technology processes over 15% of the daily US Equities Volume.
We are interested in exceptional candidates who believe they can contribute to FTEN’s executive management team as the company’s first Controller/CFO.
Working with FTEN’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operations Officer, the Controller would:
• Oversee accounting, treasury, payroll, systems and contract management.
• Manage, direct, and oversee special projects and assignments which impact financial reporting.
• Direct development, maintenance, and execution of fiscal policies, accounting, and internal financial controls.
• Oversee the preparation of required financial statements and reports for internal and external use as well as for audit purposes.
• Establish and implement short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness; effect changes required for improvement.
• Develop and manage annual budgets for the company and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.
• Develop and maintain a cash management investment program to ensure an adequate return on cash balances.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Experience working with international subsidiaries is desirable but not a requirement for the position.
• Knowledge of financial securities industry is desirable but not a requirement for the position.
