Join a small group of industry veterans in the launch of a new, video-centric Web-based service. It is a consumer-facing business providing a combination of user- submitted and professionally-generated videos to vertically segmented audiences. We can be more specific in direct correspondence.
This is an early-stage startup. Please contact us only if you have deep digital media industry experience, and a desire to join a venture in the formative stages. You must be an autonomous, self-starter with start-up experience.

Co-founder, Senior Interactive Advertising Sales Executive (any location)
In this key leadership position you will be responsible for the entire advertising sales and business development strategy for the company. You will participate in all key strategic planning activities, and will lead sales and business development efforts including honing the revenue model, and developing key strategic alliance and partnerships. You must have significant (and recent) Internet, new media, and cross platform interactive advertising sales experience, along with a strong understanding of emerging Internet advertising and marketing trends. Traditional media sales, and agency experience is a plus. Cross-discipline exposure to TV advertising would be an advantage.

Co-founder, CTO/EVP of Engineering (any location)
We’re looking for a seasoned software development executive to take responsibility for developing the technical architecture and implementation of a video-centric web delivery platform. In this key leadership position you will be responsible for the entire technology strategy from concept to commercialization, and will participate in all key strategic planning activities. You’ll need extensive experience applying information architecture, usability, accessibility and visual design principles to large-scale Web sites and applications. You should have strong knowledge of all types of new media technologies, and be current on existing and emerging standards related to digital media, with particular emphasis on digital video.

Senior Executive, Content Acquisition & Community (any location)
In this important leadership position you will be responsible for developing our content acquisition strategy, which includes acquiring existing video content, and developing programs to build and nurture communities of video content creators. You must have significant (and recent) Internet, new media, and cross platform content development and acquisition experience, along with a strong understanding of emerging video publishing technologies and business models. Traditional video production and post-production experience is a significant plus.
Senior Web Developer (New York, DC or West Coast)
We are looking for a versatile, hands-on Web developer for a senior-level position in an early-stage, video-centric, Web-based startup. This is a key leadership position on the founding team. It is a hands-on job which includes overseeing the development and operation of our website, databases, metadata, and hardware infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience working as a Manager or Senior Developer for a highly trafficked site, with knowledge of all phases of Internet/Web application development
- Deep understanding of most core web development languages and Object Oriented development methodologies, along with experience with relational database design.
- Extensive experience with a wide range of open source and third-party web technologies such as ASP.Net, XML, XSL, HTML/DHTML/AJAX and CSS, Java, JSP, PHP, and MySQL or other databases and technologies as necessary.
- Expert-level understanding of Web standards and limitations, browser and platform compatibility, and best practices for coding and workflow.
- Web User-Interface (UI) Design experience.
- Experience integrating with content management systems.
- Good understanding of system administration procedures, networking fundamentals, and standard data security procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of software engineering concepts and software life cycles.
- Knowledge of all types of new media technologies, with particular emphasis on digital video is a plus.
- Familiarity Macromedia Flash and Flash Video a big plus.
Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their experience through example sites, and prepare to discuss their role in each development.
