Position Description:

We are looking for an energetic and visionary person to help create the future of sports programming across all platforms – television, interactive, iTV, wireless, gaming, etc. As Vice President Product Marketing, you must have a proven track record of excellence in creative vision, product development, production and leadership as well as a strong interest in and knowledge of sports. This individual will serve as the creative catalyst for the Sportvision team, providing innovative solutions for sports programming across all platforms. We will rely on you to manage our product development process, including interacting with our clients to understand the business context of their needs and translating these needs and requests into products and businesses. The role requires diversity in creative styles and significant experience in creating compelling content. Position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and requires strong creative, communication and management skills.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the Media Production group
- Manage the Product Development group
- Lead creative direction of products to facilitate the translation of company and client vision into product design and functionality across traditional and new media platforms
- Maintain a high standard of overall creative excellence that reinforces Sportvision’s reputation as the provider of the most innovative and creative solutions for the sports industry
- Lead product development by working with client and internal personnel to understand client needs and how Sportvision solutions can impact their business
o Assess feasibility, define product feature sets and functionality (including relative prioritization), formulate product directions and allocate resources
o Understand key technical issues/solutions and be able to identify key dependencies, uncertainties, and most important areas for risk management
o Manage feature delivery and schedules

Your Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this job will have creative, production and product development experience across a number of media platforms – broadcast, interactive, iTV, wireless, etc. The following skills and attributes are also required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in creating compelling content across one – and preferably more - media platforms, including interactive, wireless and broadcast
- 5+ years experience leading high-growth, creative teams with a proven design and aesthetic sensibility
- Product development and/or product management experience in broadcast, video gaming, wireless, or interactive television
- Familiarity and technical understanding of broadcast technology and operations; experience managing software development or products that include software; facility with computers and management tools
- Experience working in the demanding environment of remote, live television production a plus
- Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and process oriented skills and work well in a team environment
- Deep knowledge of sports and sports related content
- Knowledge of video and web production, animation, layout, motion design and web graphics
- Experience creating and managing consumer products a plus
- Frequent travel required
