We have a first-class engineering team in place and are now aggressively searching for the best and the brightest graphic design guru who combines impeccable visual design, passion for customer experience, and the technical know-how to lead our UI efforts. The ideal candidate possesses superlative design skills, a proven track record for quality performance, and a passion for creating cutting edge design. Responsibilities:
* Lead the team's user interface and design efforts
* Work closely with our engineering team to build a scalable, highly interactive, and dynamic consumer service
* Keep current on best practices in graphic design
* Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Required
* Proven experience developing websites for highly trafficked consumer businesses
* Have built consumer tested Flash and Action Script applications
* Ability to construct HTML/CSS/JavaScript (manually if neccessary)
* Expertise in cross-browser compatibility (Firefox, IE, Safari, Opera)
* Expertise with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop or Macromedia equivalents
* Exposure to leading edge JavaScript frameworks like Dojo and Prototype
* Experience in conducting usability with end users a plus
* B.S. or M.S. in Design, Computer Science, or related experience

* Full-time position
* On-site in San Francisco office
