Pre-funded Boston HD Radio Start-up Has Eye Out For Chief Software Architect
A pre-funded Cambridge, MA outfit called RadioSherpa is looking for a Chief Software Architect who can afford to work without a paycheck until investors save the day. RadioSherpa has a product in beta that covers the Boston area. It hooks up to local radio streams and allows users to play music of talk shows clips. To make it work you need an HD radio.

RadioSherpa is an early-stage self-funded startup that is looking to change the way people listen to the radio. Central to the RadioSherpa solution is a real-time electronic program guide. A beta online version of our product is available at http://www.radiosherpa.com. Further details about the RadioSherpa solution will be provided upon mutual interest and under NDA.
We are looking for a Chief Software Architect who will be responsible for developing our next generation web application.
Required Technical Experience:
- Extensive software design and development in web technologies, especially using Linux, Apache, MySQL and Python.
- Comfortable in C.
- Some experience with embedded systems.
Other Desired Experience:
- Experience building and leading teams
- Experience working in early stage startups
- Interest in entertainment industry (a big plus)

Compensation: Pay will be in the form of equity compensation (until we get funding) and will commensurate with experience.
