Senior Web Engineer

Flixya, (Flixya.com) has an immediate opening for a talented developer to take a lead role in developing the next generation of our online video community.
What we are seeking:
We are looking for someone interested in joining our small, yet efficient team to scale our online video community and create the next generation of Flixya video publishing and distribution tools. Equity based compensation may be available for the right candidate depending on experience and qualifications.
The job requires an independent, dedicated and professional self-starter.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Spec, develop and troubleshoot existing code
- Scale and monitor server performance
- Technology integration, tuning Drupal CMS and MySQL databases
- Custom module development for Drupal and PHP based platform
- APIs and RSS feeds optimization for third party developers/programmers
Required Knowledge:
- PHP (Built on Drupal)
- MySQL
- Linux
- Apache
- HTML and CSS
- XML/RSS
Experience Requirements
- 4+ years experience building multimedia websites
Preferred Knowledge
- Flash and Actionscript
- Networking
- Client/Server architecture
- UNIX
