Director, Sales & Business Development, Pictureal Corp., San Francisco, CA Pictureal, a venture-backed consumer entertainment & technology startup is looking for a Director of Business Development & Sales, who will be responsible for expanding Pictureal’s market reach by developing innovative new partnerships with Internet, content creation, content distribution, advertising and mobile companies. Pictureal is a next generation, on & offline content creation, development and delivery platform. It turns user-generated content captured in any format into entertaining personalized movies, while enabling viewing and sharing on TV, Internet and mobile devices. Responsibilities The responsibilities and requirements of this position include, and are not restricted to: • Drive business development and platform sales to Internet, content, advertising and mobile companies. • Contribute towards charting the market landscape for sales and business development. • Create financial models to analyze partnership potential, and develop business and sales presentations. • Develop, negotiate and execute key contracts with partners and customers. • Build and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with the top players in these industries. • Bring in and cultivate relationships with key executives at partner and customer companies. • Work with marketing, product development and PR teams to create effective approaches to maximize the impact of the partnerships. • Respond to inquiries in a prioritized fashion. • Represent the company at trade shows and industry conferences. • Grow the business and sales team to fuel further growth. Qualifications & Experience If rich consumer experiences, marketing, Internet, technology, globalization, media, entertainment, and an entrepreneurial environment is what you dig and are really good at; and an all-immersive, never-mind-the- hours-as-long-as-I-am-having-fun attitude is what you got; everything else can be worked out. Specific desired qualifications are: - 5-10 years of sales and business development experience and solid knowledge of consumer, Internet, mobile and content spaces. - Demonstrated experience of creating partnerships that drive revenue. - Terrific interpersonal and communication skills in all mediums. - Ability to multi-task and get stuff done within aggressive deadlines, and within limited time and resources. - Entrepreneurial, with a keen understanding of what it takes for a startup to succeed. Deep understanding of what it will take, and then fast, precise, effective conception and simultaneous execution of multiple plans is key to success in this position.
