NYC's The Feed Room Booking a Finance VP

VP, Finance and Accounting

The FeedRoom is a seven-year-old leading Digital Media Technology Company providing broadband video solutions and services to its customer base and strategic partners. The technology developed and employed by The FeedRoom has redefined broadband applications and services and serves, on a fully outsourced basis, many of the biggest media and corporate brands in the world. The Company has grown three years consecutively at close to 50% in its core business.

The FeedRoom is seeking a Vice President, Finance with leadership, drive and experience in leading the financial direction of a rapidly growing, venture capital backed technology organization. The Company provides an exciting growth environment, a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and an equity stake in the company. This position reports to the CEO and is available in our U.S. headquarters in New York City, New York.

V.P, Finance and Accounting

Expected Job Duties:

· Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the Company; oversee staff accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
· Implement and manage necessary systems and controls to effectively manage the daily financial operations of the Company.
· Ensure that key customer, investor, partnership, alliance, and supplier relationships are acknowledged, managed, and leveraged, and work with other senior managers strengthening of these key relationships;
· Work with the CEO to ensure that proper business planning takes place within the company
· Contribute to obtaining clear short- and long-term performance objectives and targets for the company as a whole, and individually for sales, marketing, finance, operations, and product development
· Develop and manage financial input and reporting mechanisms, and ensure that reporting provides the information needed to reveal and address problem areas
· Prepare for senior management team meetings in the review of financial performance against objectives and targets
· Encourage brainstorming and creative approaches to enhance the company's growth, worth, and profitability
· Manage company insurance programs
· Manage company facilities and other physical assets
· Manage and/or establish relationships with key partners within the financial arm of the company, such as audit and tax advisors, equipment lease providers, banking providers, etc.
