Guitar Lessons Site iPlayMusic Needs Web Dev in Mountain View
Music lessons online businesses have surpised with good up-take. iPlayMusic is a Mountain View, CA-based start-up that claims to have drawn funding. The start-up is run by Stewart Putney who previously ran Knight-Ridder Digital’s online shopping and coupon properties.

iPlayMusic, a funded media startup seeks a mid- senior level web developer. We are in need of a self-starting web developer who can hit the ground running as we build out an exciting new media application. Get involved at the ground level in a growing industry.
Requirements include:
- Extensive experience with Linux and web server applications such as Apache
- Understanding and experience with Content Delivery Networks and delivering media
- Extensive experience building scalable Internet websites
- Understanding and exposure to the current market and technologies for websites (e.g. Web 2.0, RSS, Ajax)
- Experience with databases and developing database schemas
- A wide range of programming experience (PHP, _Javascript, C++, Bash)
Preference will be given to candidates who have shipped product and have previous startup experience.
