BrightCove Has Blueprints On Information Architect

You know the story, net video platform BrightCove is founded by Net luminaryJeremy Allaire and BrightCove has done well for itself with big media customers. Investors are AOL, IAC/InterActiveCorp, Hearst, Allen & Company, Accel Partners and General Catalyst Partners. Its top positions are filled but it still needs an Information Architect.

Information Architect

This is a rare opportunity to play a role in shaping the future of interactive media at Brightcove. You will work alongside a talented team of software, Web and media veterans from companies such as Allaire, ATG, Comcast, Lycos, Macromedia and News Corp., led by the company's founder and Internet pioneer Jeremy Allaire.

Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, iterate and implement detailed user interface specifications and designs for complex projects, including use cases, flow diagrams, wireframes and final documentation
- Collaborate with visual designers and engineers during iteration and implementation of UE designs
- Translate usability research findings into design improvements
- Support design team as needed on related projects

Required Background
- Upper-class undergrad or graduate-level with focus on Information Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors or related discipline
- Proven experience and a portfolio that includes a variety of IA deliverables (annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, sitemaps, design patterns, etc), and the ability to adapt them to different uses, projects and constraints
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and convey ideas to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- Comfortable using design-related software, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Visio, and Microsoft Office
