Having a young eager recent college grad around a start-up can be a great idea. GradsWanted allows recent college grads to create their own personal pages. This allows a potential employer to search based on certain interests and schools. So if you are hiring and are a Cal or Stanford Alum you can search by those schools.
The company is smartly trying to plug in to the momentum of Facebook by marketing to users of that service as they are putting on their caps and gowns.
