We hadn't come across Hyrian before. Perhaps because they were founded way back in 1997 and are based in LA. The start-up calls itself a recruitment process outsourcing leader. That seems like a week acronym for head-hunters.

What would you be doing?
In this role, you would be responsible for maximizing our client’s Internet marketing efforts through the use of better technology, tactics and strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your technical prowess with your ability to manage people and information. Your primary responsibilities would include:
Creating overall e-commerce goals and objectives
Interfacing with IT to develop correct codes on product offerings to ensure price points are consistent
Researching and presenting new media and new technology strategies
Overseeing and growing the affiliate programs
Using web analysis tools and metrics to analyze the results of online marketing efforts
Presenting report findings to upper management on a regular basis
Researching data and providing profitability trends, as well as preparing and monitoring the Internet media budget
Developing successful e-marketing techniques and strategies to cross-sell products

REQUIREMENTS
What kind of candidate are we looking for?
Demonstrated experience in the management of web site operations with proven results of generating profits is required. Supervisory experience is also required, including a background in overseeing a department reporting on profitability to executive management. Experience is preferred in the areas of retail, direct marketing, distribution, and/or entertainment. A Bachelor’s degree is ideal.
